Millers observe 70th date
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Myles Miller of Central City have observed their 70th wedding anniversary with a party at their home.
Mr. Miller and the former Edith Marie McNeal were married Dec. 2, 1937.
Mr. Miller retired in 1978 from Johnstown Plant, Bethlehem Steel Corp.
Mrs. Miller recently had a book titled, “My Story: A Memoir,” published with the help of her daughter.
The Millers are the parents of five children: Carole, wife of George Calhoun, Marlton, Md.; Jo, wife of Walt Burnett, Lancaster; Dolly, wife of Bud Copperberg, Sacramento, Calif.; Ric, and wife, Betty, Elizabethtown, Lancaster County; and Randy, and wife, Joanne, Elizabethtown.
There are eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
