Telenkos mark 65th anniversary

JOHNSTOWN — Mr. and Mrs. James Telenko of Davidsville have marked their 65th wedding anniversary with a dinner hosted by their children for family and friends at Napa Room, Holiday Inn.

Mr. Telenko and the former Dora Mae Nicolli were married June 30, 1948, at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Jerome.

Mr. Telenko is a retired project manager at General Electric Co., and worked for Carpenter’s Local Union 1419.

He is an Army veteran of World War II.

Mrs. Telenko was a cosmetologist.

The Telenkos are members of Jerome American Legion and St. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Davidsville, where Mrs. Telenko is a eucharistic minister.

They enjoy traveling and visiting their children and grandchildren and doing crossword puzzles.

The Telenkos are the parents of six children: James, Carlton, Minn.; Robert, Lecanto, Fla.; Jeanne Chamer, Davidsville; Donna Block, Jerome; Paul, Bend, Ore.; and David, Aleisa Viejo, Calif.

There are 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
