BLAINE, Minn. —
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fondelier of Elton have noted their 50th wedding anniversary with a renewal of their wedding vows at Oakland United Methodist Church, followed
by a dinner hosted by their children and spouses at Homestead Inn Restaurant.
Mr. Fondelier and the former Beverley Roth were married Sept. 7, 1962, at St. John Roman Catholic Church.
Mr. Fondelier retired after 44 years’ service from Sani-Dairy. He works part time as a security guard at Johnstown welfare office.
He is a past member of Belmont Volunteer Fire Company and Geistown Volunteer Fire Company.
They are members of Oakland United Methodist Church and enjoy spending time with family and friends in Johnstown, Harrisburg and Ohio.
The Fondeliers are the parents of four children: Richard, married to the former Carrie Goughnour, Johnstown; Thomas, married to the former Stacey Gelles, Elton; Kevin, married to the former Michelle Shaffer, Jennerstown; and Kimberly, wife of Bill Moyer, Harrisburg.
There are seven grandchildren: Michael, Ryan, Allison, Rylan, Elizabeth, Madison and Emma.
