Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Bowen of South Fork have observed their 50th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Bowen and the former Dorothy Ellenberger were married May 25, 1963, at Wesley United Methodist Church, South Fork.
Mr. Bowen is the son of the late Earl and Marion Bowen.
Mrs. Bowen is the daughter of the late Edward and Geraldine Ellenberger.
Mr. Bowen is a retired truck driver for Luther P. Miller Inc. and is a bus driver for the Forest Hills School District.
The Bowens are members of South Fork Lions Club and active members of South Fork First United Methodist Church, where Mrs. Bowen is organist and choir director.
They are the parents of three children: David, married to the former Misti Crum; and Debbie, wife of Mark Wadsworth, all of South Fork; and Dawna, wife of Scott Gerney, Vinco.
There are nine grandchildren: Jarrett and Jensen Bowen, Matthew Wadsworth, Nathan and Kayla Gerney and Jenn, Madison, Haley and Veronica Crum.
