Pikovskys celebrate golden anniversary

Johnstown — Mr. and Mrs. Norbert J. Pikovsky of Johnstown have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner celebration at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn and Tim Trabold.

Mr. Pikovsky and the former Mary Ann Kovach were married Nov. 14, 1962, at SS. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church in Woodvale by the Rev. Joseph Pier.  

Mr. Pikovsky was born in Johnstown, son of Frank and Elizabeth Pikovsky.

Mrs. Pikovsky was born in Johnstown, daughter of Michael and Mary Kovach.

Mr. Pikovsky worked for Bethlehem Steel Corp. He is an Army veteran.

He enjoys hunting and gardening.  

Mrs. Pikovsky is a homemaker who enjoys baking, making candy and playing cards.

The Pikovskys enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.

They are members of St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church, Johnstown.

The Pikovskys are the parents of three children: Bernard, married to Lee, Virginia Beach, Va.; Norbert R., married to Joyce, Johnstown; and JoAnn, married to Timothy Trabold, Windber.

There are two granddaughters, Jessica and Jennifer of Virginia Beach and two grandsons, William and Matthew of Windber.
