Fricks observe 60th anniversary

JOHNSTOWN — Mr. and Mrs. Charles Frick of Johnstown have observed their 60th wedding anniversary with a Mass at Our Mother of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, Westmont, followed by a family dinner hosted by their children at Surf & Turf Inn, Johnstown.

Mr. Frick and the former Dorothy Sroka were married Oct. 25, 1952, at St. Columba Roman Catholic Church, Cambria City.

Mr. Frick is retired from Pennsylvania Electric Co.  

He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and was active in football, bowling and golf.

Mrs. Frick is an active member of the Third Order of St. Francis. She is a eucharistic minister and organist.

The Fricks have enjoyed traveling since retiring.

They are the parents of eight children: Thomas and Ruth Frick, Dover, Pa.; Joseph and Jeanne Frick, York; Sharon and David Lovette, Davidsville; Pamela and Robert Holt, Middleburg, Va.; John Frick, Lemoyne, Pa.; William and Kathleen Frick, Elizabethtown, Pa.; JoAnn and Daniel Galbraith, Greensburg; and Charles and Lorraine Frick, Mountville, Pa.  

There are 13 grandchildren.
