The Tribune-Democrat offers two birth announcement choices. Announcement A is a basic announcement, which is free. B is a expanded announcement.

Basic announcement
FREE - no photograph

Announcement includes parents' names and address, baby's gender, date of birth and hospital name.

EXAMPLE

(B)
Expanded announcement

* $50 with one column photograph
* Online access

Basic announcement, plus baby's name, size, grandparents' names and addresses, great-grandparents names and addresses and brothers and sisters.

Meladie Bree Rainey was born June 24, 2006, at Lee Hospital in Johnstown. She weighed 6 pounds, 1 ounce, and was 19 inches long. Her parents are Mattew and Janice Rainey of Ebensburg. The grandparents are Donald and Marryann Rainey of Indiana and Ronald and Barbara Flowers of Mineral Point. The great-grandparents are Virginia Burnside of Ohio and Barbara Knapp of Johnstown. Her sister is Jocelyn Rainey.
