Man injured in Johnstown shooting

JOHNSTOWN — A man was taken to the hospital after suffering a gunshot wound in Johnstown this afternoon.

The shooting happened about 2:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the Giant Eagle on Broad Street in the West End of Johnstown.

City police and firefighters cordoned off the area around a vehicle in the parking lot.

Police believe there may be a witness to the shooting.

The man's condition was not immediately know.
