Four arrested for dealing drugs

Fifth person, a wanted man, also arrested

JOHNSTOWN — Johnstown police arrested four people who were dealing drugs Friday afternoon at a downtown Johnstown motel and then chased down a wanted man who showed up while police were still at the scene.

Police Chief Craig Foust said police learned of the drug deal at the Towne Manor Motel, went to the scene and encountered a drug deal in progress.

While police were still at the scene investigating, a man with a warrant out of Somerset County, showed up, he said.

The suspect fled from police over downtown Johnstown streets with two plainclothes police officers chasing him down and taking him into custody, Foust said.
