BUSINESS IN BRIEF | Community Bankers declares dividend

— Community Bankers Corp. of Indiana has declared a regular dividend for shareholders of record on March 14. The dividend will be 8.60 cents for each share of common stock owned by the shareholder, payable March 28.

Community Bankers Corp. is the parent company of the Marion Center Bank.

Seven Springs realty company expands

The resort realty company at Seven Springs Mountain Resort has announced that it is expanding its real estate in the Laurel Highlands and is called Highlands Resort Realty.

Highlands Resort Realty will have full-service offices at Seven Springs Mountain Resort and Hidden Valley Resort.

The team of agents will include Harold Swank, broker of record, and sales agents Michelle Buccilli, Beverly Spurling, John Tierney and Dale McKinley.

Spherion franchisee recognized for sales

Spherion Staffing Service, a national recruiting, staffing and workforce solutions provider, has announced that one of the company’s largest franchisees, with headquarters in Altoona, received a Performance Forum Award for exceptional sales performance.

Donald A. Ruggery Sr., owner of the Spherion franchise offices in Altoona, Bedford, Johnstown, Connellsville, Canonsburg, Greensburg, State College, Williamsport and York, has attributed much of this success to focusing on individual customer’s needs and delivering excellent local service.

This honor represented the third consecutive year that Spherion recognized the franchise offices as a performance forum honoree.
