In brief: New store at Galleria offers tanning, teeth whitening

— A new Galleria Mall store wants to give customers a reason to smile.

SMILE opened this month inside the mall, offering tanning services and LED teeth whitening that store operators say can make teeth two to eight shades whiter.

The service costs $75 and takes 30 minutes, owners Shawn Mock and Stacy Smay said, adding results last up to a year.

Catanese Group aids Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

During the past seven years, The Catanese Group has helped the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society through Light the Night.

Not only has the group made a monetary contribution of more than $40,000, employees also volunteer at the Pittsburgh and Johnstown walks. This year, $4,225 was donated.

The Catanese Group is a privately held accounting firm with offices in Johnstown and Pittsburgh. The Catanese Group has seven partners and approximately 25 employees in both offices.
