— A well-known auto parts chain is adding two more locations in the area.

Work is already under way to add an AutoZone in the former Goodwill location on Scalp Avenue and on Route 22 in Cambria Township alongside a recently opened Sheetz near the Route 219 exit.

Signs on both work sites are advertising the additions.

AutoZone now has a store at 85 Hickory St. in Johnstown as well as locations at 1412 N. Center Ave., Somerset, and 9425 Lincoln Highway, Bedford.

The Memphis-based company has more than 5,000 locations across the globe, according to the company’s Website.

A Fortune 500 company, it bills itself as the nation’s leading auto parts retailer – and reported nearly $8.1 billion in annual sales in the 2011 fiscal year, according to its annual report.

The deals were brokered by Johnstown-based CCN properties.
