Provider adds ESPN360.com

Beginning Wednesday, Atlantic Broadband’s high-speed Internet customers will have access to ESPN360.com, ESPN’s 24/7 broadband sports network.

ESPN360.com will be provided at no additional cost, said David Dane, Atlantic Broadband senior vice president and regional general manager.

Sports offered on ESPN360.com include basketball, football, baseball, tennis, golf, soccer, lacrosse, professional racquetball, international polo, NCAA hockey and softball, open-wheel racing and more.

There will be 25 live college football bowl games. Nearly 300 live college basketball games will be available, including extensive coverage of Big East and Big 10 conference games and championships.

ESPN360.com also provides fans with the ability to pause, rewind and fast-forward live events, information from Dane notes.

It can deliver up to 15 simultaneous live events, with fans able to toggle between events in a main viewing window, and, with a single click, jump to another event.

Video can be viewed in widescreen and normal views and can be expanded to full screen or reduced to a compact size.

Recently completed events are archived and available for on-demand replay, Atlantic Broadband information says.

Those wanting to become part of Atlantic Broadband’s Internet service may call (888) 536-9600, Dane said.
