UPJ sweeps Kutztown

JOHNSTOWN — Marissa Erminio finished with 17 kills and eight digs, and Kelsey Shanabrook had seven kills and 12 digs to lead the Pitt-Johnstown volleyball team to a 25-21, 25-21 and 25-15 PSAC sweep over Kutztown University on Friday evening in the Sports Center.

The Lady Cats improved to 18-8 overall and 10-6 in the PSAC.

Brittany Saetre chipped in 14 digs, while Katie Svetahor added 13 digs in the victory. Allison Mondorff finished with a match-high 31 assists and eight digs.

Audrey Stringer led the way for the Golden Bears with 12 kills. With the loss, Kutztown dropped to 10-16 overall, and 4-11 in the PSAC.
