St. Francis tops UPJ

LORETTO — Behind a 29- point, 15-rebound game from Alli Williams, the St. Francis women beat Pitt-Johnstown, 101-75, in the squad’s lone exhibition match.

Six different Red Flash players posted double-figures in the win, including a 15-point, eight-rebound night from sophomore Brooklyn Taylor.

“We did a lot of good things tonight,” St. Francis coach Joe Haigh said. “We rebounded the ball well, we played together and we played hard for the whole game.”

Corissa Archer notched 13 points in her St. Francis debut, while Rebecca Keegan and Samiah Bethel each added 10. Shaqeia Stokes posted 12 points to go along with four rebounds.
