American patriots have a viable alternative via the Constitution Party’s ticket to those whom I believe are the Council on Foreign Relations’ cherry-picked candidates – John McCain and Barack Obama.
Information concerning the Constitution Party’s nominees, Chuck Baldwin and Darrell Castle, and their stance regarding pertinent national and international issues can be accessed at www.chuckbaldwinlive.com, (888) USA1-911 or (616) 534-5861.
The upcoming presidential election does not represent a choice between Republicans and Democrats or liberals and conservatives.
It is a choice between the globalists and their North American Union/One World Order agenda and the preservation of the Constitution (protection) and sovereignty of the United States of America.
The Constitution Party nominees have a solid platform and plan to preserve that which is in imminent and dire peril of being swallowed up by the virtually invisible (by choice) but oh-so-there colossus of the One World Order crowd.
It will be necessary to obtain an absentee ballot if one lives in a precinct utilizing electronic voting machines and wishes to vote for the Constitution nominees.
Therefore, time is short in which to act per the Constitution Party nominees concerning the upcoming election.
A write-in vote for the Constitution Party’s presidential and vice presidential nominees can be done. If citizens wish to maintain their current party affiliations regarding the other offices up for vote, they can do so and still write in the Constitution Party nominees.

Are Iraqis better off now than before?
“An argument McCain can’t win,” penned by James Finkelstein and appearing in the Aug. 16 Readers’ Forum, describes all the judgment errors made by John McCain in 2002 regarding troops being sent to Iraq against Barack Obama’s recommendation.
I agree that we would not have lost more than 4,100 American servicemen and women nor had more than 30,000 wounded and disabled American Marines, Navy, Army and Air Force personnel had America not invaded Iraq.
What I don’t understand and would like to ask Finkelstein is, how many innocent Iraqi citizens would have been slaughtered or maimed by Saddam Hussein since 2002 if we hadn’t invaded Iraq? How many Iraqis would have lived in fear or been tortured during his dictatorship?
Our men and women now serving in harm’s way need our support, and their efforts should not be undermined by people who have not served in our country’s military.
Many soldiers have seen firsthand the results of our efforts: Iraqis who fled Saddam’s tyranny are returning to their homeland, shops and businesses are reopening, children are returning to schools and not being taught to hate Americans, and families are no longer fearing a ruthless dictator.
McCain has no need to apologize for his actions regarding Iraq. He saw war firsthand and spent more than four years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam, being tortured daily, his injuries untreated.
If anyone needs to apologize, it would be Obama.
Call me an enlightened Democrat and a veteran for McCain.

Catholic Democrats must oppose abortion
I realize I still have much to learn about my Roman Catholic faith, but one thing I do know: My church teaches that abortion and same-sex marriage are serious sins – mortal sins.
I also know that one of the best-kept secrets of the Roman Catholic church is that there are five intrinsic evil policies in our culture today. Abortion and same-sex marriage are two of them. A Catholic is conscience-bound not to vote for any candidate who supports any of these non-negotiable evils. If they do, they would be an accomplice to the candidate’s guilt.
Barack Obama is the most pro-abortion politician on the political scene. If elected, he vows to undo all pro-life legislation, including the ban on partial-birth abortion. He would appoint liberal pro-abortion judges to the Supreme Court who would keep Roe v. Wade intact indefinitely. He would promote our tax dollars to fund abortions. He would set back the pro-life movement for untold years.
Any Roman Catholic who votes for Obama is either unaware or unconcerned about the million babies aborted each year, the millions of mortal sins committed, the millions of souls who are endangering their chances for eternal salvation.
This, my friends, is a tragedy.
Neither the abortion nor same-sex marriage issues disturb most Catholic Demo-crats. Their grandfathers were Democrats, their fathers are Democrats, and they will vote Democrat. The Democratic Party is their sacred cow whose milk has turned sour.

Liberals don’t belong in government
My father was a veteran of World War II, and he was taught to be proud to be an American. I will not stand by while our country is under attack by the people who are supposed to lead us.
It makes me furious when lawmakers allow openly gays into our armed forces. This destroys morale.
When the pop group The Village People sang “In the Navy,” it was not singing about serving its country.
Real men do not have sex with each other. Real women do not have sex with each other.
It’s time to get the liberal trash out of our government.
