Good luck to the Crushers, Ramblers

The Tribune-Democrat

And then there were two.

Bishop McCort and Windber Area high schools will carry our region’s state football championship hopes one more step this evening and we wish both Class A teams the best of luck.

Undefeated McCort (12-0) meets Steelton-Highspire at Mansion Park in Altoona, and Windber (9-3) plays Clairton at Trojan Stadium in Johnstown.

Our region’s high school football programs take a back seat to no one’s; the end-of-season playoffs prove that.

No matter what colors you’ve “lived” or “died” rooting for this past season, we hope tonight you’re pulling for the crimson and gold and the blue and white.

Go, Crimson Crushers! Go, Ramblers!
