Readers' Forum 12-17 | Destroy the youth, destroy our nation

JOHNSTOWN — When we always included God in everything, he blessed us in everything. We replaced God’s laws with man’s laws, and look at our country today. Recently, we got a report on where we stand in the world on education in our schools.

Out of 35 countries, the United States ranked 17th. That means half the children in the world are better educated than our children. Still, we spend more on education than anybody else.

Remember when our schools had a Bible in every room? We were always on top. Get the Bibles back into the schools. Think of it. You cannot mention God in a public school.

In February, a report came out on venereal disease in this country. The report said that, at the present rate, one of every two kids (boys and girls) between the ages of 14-25 will be treated for some kind of venereal disease, thanks to sex-education in schools.

When a girl starts on the pill, nobody  tells her that the pill will cause certain hormonal deficiencies. Nobody tells her it will demineralize her bones by 7 percent a year, leading eventually to osteoporosis.

Go online, do a search for complication of the pill. You will be surprised at what you will find.

Destroy the youth of a nation and you will destroy that nation. We turned our backs on God, and now we are paying for it. The worst is still to come.

Obama presidency taunts Bible

These verses from Proverbs 6:16-19, King James version, caused me to reflect on President Obama and his presidency.

“These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look (presidential selfie); a lying tongue (‘If you like your health insurance, you can keep it. Period.’); and hands that shed innocent blood (Obamacare abortion mandate and death panels); a heart that deviseth wicked imaginations ($860 billion to bail out banks, General Motors, unions, etc.; shovel-ready infrastructure jobs; a campaign against coal, gas, oil; Obama’s green energy debacles; a $17 trillion national debt that enslaves generations); feet that be swift in running to mischief (Fast and Furious, IRS, National Security Agency, Libya); a false witness that speaketh lies (the spontaneous Benghazi riot caused by a Florida YouTube, global warming); and he that soweth discord among brethren (redistributive policies, racial rhetoric and unconstitutional executive orders and actions).”

I shudder to think what will happen to those who knowingly anger the almighty.

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Proverbs 1:7.

May God spare America for electing Obama king.
