On May 8, we attended our grandson’s 5 p.m. baseball game at Arbutus Park in Richland Township. Shortly after the game started, lightning became visible in the area. The storm continued until we left at 7:30 p.m.
The officials delayed the game a number of times, but continued to send the players onto the field. Hindsight is 20/20.
If anyone says that there was no danger, get your head out of the sand. There were two homes hit by lightning within a mile of the park during the storm.
President cannot plead ignorance
The Obama White House has now proven to be the most nontransparent, corrupt and scandal-ridden administration in modern American history.
The truths surrounding Benghazi are now coming forward. In contrast to Hillary Clinton’s statement that “it doesn’t matter” we know that “it does matter.”
Now, we are made aware that the IRS has specifically targeted “conservative organizations” during the past four years, and those responsible are not just located in Cincinnati, but also in Washington, D.C.
On Monday, we learned that the Department of Justice has attacked First Amendment rights by tracking phone calls of Associated Press journalists without their knowledge and/or permission.
Adding insult to injury, this administration continues the charade surrounding the Fort Hood massacre, calling it “work place violence” and not what it truly was – an act of terror. By doing so, the president has deprived survivors of Fort Hood the medical benefits they truly deserve.
I suggest that the hidden agenda behind Obama’s standard response that he will “investigate” thoroughly the above scandals – investigations that have provided no answers and brought no one to justice – was to provide cover for his re-election.
Ignorance is no excuse for the president of the United States, and if he was truly insulated, look no further than Valerie Jarrett, David Axlerod and Rham Emanuel.
If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it is a duck.
