JOHNSTOWN — Destroying livelihood is not justifiable

I guess it is justified that if you have a disagreement with someone’s economic way of living, you can destroy that life.

Shame on few who shut down nation

In 1939, the United States adopted President Franklin Roosevelt’s Social Security act. The GOP opposed it, but came together for the good of the country.

In 1965, President Lyndon Johnson proposed the Medicare act. Again, the GOP opposed it but came together again for the good of the country.

In 2013, we were given Obamacare (Affordable Care Act). The GOP opposed it, but this time a few inexperienced, immature lawmakers hijacked the GOP and shut down the government.

Shame, shame.
