The Democrats and President Obama have great nerve calling the tea party terrorists and anarchists when they are the ones who have admitted socialists into their party whose goal it is to collapse our capitalist system in favor of socialism. Obamacare is a step toward that goal.
The tea party is fighting this attempt to undermine our nation.
If anyone is terrorist-connected, it’s the Democrats. Reps. Nancy Pelosi and Keith Ellison have had fundraisers held for them by CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations, now known as Washington Trust Fund) This Muslim Brotherhood front group has the same goal as Democrats, so for now they will support their Democrat helpers. I wonder if CAIR ever gets audited by the IRS?
The tea party stands for:
-- The Constitution and individual rights therein.
-- Small federal government as intended by our Founding Fathers.
-- Low taxes.
That is it. We are not terrorizing anyone. We are exercising our rights. We are not rioting like the real anarchists, occupying or blowing up buildings like the Weather Underground – Obama’s buddy Bill
Obama wants us to stop clinging to our guns and (Christian) religion, but I don’t hear him saying that to the Islamic terrorists he is arming or the Libyan rebels he allowed to seek refuge here.
He doesn’t want to offend Muslims or dictators, but calling me a terrorist is fine.
I am a proud Christian and I am a proud American. I will not sit down and shut up.
How much more can taxpayers bear?
Pennsylvania is intersecting a major crossroads in deciding how to fund transportation infrastructure for the future. Proposals by Gov. Tom Corbett seem to be leaving a sour taste in many Pennsylvanians’ mouths. Taxpayers are routinely fleeced by all levels of government for funding. Dumping more responsibility on them for the proposed funding plans will not be easily tolerated.
The removal of the cap on the oil franchise tax and the changing of registration fees stand to cost the traveling public and businesses a great deal in their transportation costs. Initial estimates are that it will cost an extra 28 cents per gallon for gas and 38 cents for diesel. With the recent fuel price volatility, this is not an extra cost that can simply be absorbed. Transportation is a factor in nearly every sector of our economy. This will have a trickle-down effect on everything we buy or sell. Less money in the pockets of the public is less that is spent buying goods and services to support the economy. This equates to a mortal wound for economic recovery.
Financial accountability and prioritization of funding must be the solution to the funding shortfall. No transportation infrastructure, no economy, no jobs. Other funding allocations will have to take a back seat until our priorities are met.
The recent posting of weight limits on bridges seems to be an example of an attempt to force us into accepting the governor’s plan. Be heard and be involved in this process, because it will affect you.
