Jennifer Christner, Dr. Ryan Arnold

David and Peggy Christner of Johnstown have announced the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer, to Dr. Ryan Arnold, son of Diane Arnold of Columbia, Md., and Stephen Arnold of Adelphi, Md.

Miss Christner is a 2001 graduate of Westlake High School and a 2006 graduate of Towson University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

She is a registered nurse at the University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore, Md.

Dr. Arnold is a 1999 graduate of Hammond High School and a 2003 graduate of LaSalle University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in biology and English.

In 2007, he graduated from Eastern Virginia Medical School.

He is a resident at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

An Oct. 25 wedding is planned in Johnstown.
