Jim Worthing will present a concert at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church of Vintondale, 485 Main St.
He has appeared on the “Grand Ole Opry,” “Prime Time Country” and “Nashville Now” delivering Christian messages.

Woman will speak at Spring Meadow
Spring Meadow Family Worship Center, Route 56, Fishertown, will honor mothers during the 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship service.
Linda Riehl will speak.
There will not be an evening service.
A study on an end-time issue will be presented at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the center.

Roxbury church to honor mothers
The Rev. Brian N. Simms, pastor of Roxbury Church of the Brethren, 112 Sell St., Johnstown, will recognize mothers in attendance during the 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship service.
His sermon, “Hannah, the Prayerful Mother,” is based on I Samuel 1:4-22.
The cathedral choir will sing “She Will Be Called Blessed.”
It will be directed by Melanie Shiley, accompanied by Laura Krouse, pianist. Jeffrey Mullen is the narrator.
A baby dedication will be held during the morning worship.
Sunday school will begin at 9:30.
Healing meditations set at Windber church
Interfaith Spiritual Healing Meditations, presented by the Institute of Integrative Medicine at Windber Medical Center, will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday and May 27 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church, 605 Graham Ave., Windber.
The meditations, consisting of music, aromatherapeutic oils, prayers and meditations, is open to all faith groups with the intention for physical, emotional and spiritual wholeness.
