14 vie for title of Junior Miss

The 52nd annual Pennsylvania Junior Miss Scholarship Program will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Greater Johnstown High School auditorium.
Fourteen high school seniors will represent their counties and vie for the opportunity to represent Pennsylvania in the 2010 America’s Junior Miss Scholarship Program to be held in June in Mobile, Ala.
The seniors are:
Sierra Bell, daughter of Arthur and Stephanie Bell of New Castle, Lawrence County, attends New Castle Senior High School. She will play the piano.
Alyssa Benamati, daughter of William and Julie Benamati of Curwensville, Clearfield County, attends Curwensville Area High School. She will perform a jazz dance twirl.
Christina des Groseilliers, daughter of Patricia des Groseilliers of Landenberg, Chester County, attends Ursuline Academy. She will perform a self-expression.
Katy Galimberti, daughter of Mark and Elaine Galimberti of State College, Centre County, attends State College Area High School. She will perform a dance and twirl.
Ashley Gochoco, daughter of Jacinto and Cynthia Gochoco of York, attends York Country Day School. She will play the violin.
Taylor Guthrie, daughter of Howard and Doreen Guthrie of New Brighton, Beaver County, attends New Brighton High School. She will perform a jazz dance.
Cierra Iddings, daughter of Leonard and Tammee Iddings of Holtwood, Lancaster County, attends Penns Manor High Shool. She will perform a lyrical dance.
Catherine Kelley, daughter of Leroy Kelley and Nicasia Vasquez of Reading, Berks County, attends Muhlenberg High School. She will perform a self-written dramatic monologue.
Laura Killian, daughter of Richard and Ann Killian of Lancaster, attends Hempfield High School. She will perform a dance and twirl routine.
Elena LaQuatra, daughter of Paul and Effie LaQuatra of Pittsburgh, attends Mount Lebanon High School. She will perform a tap dance.
Jocelyn Lonsinger, daughter of Robert and Vicky Lonsinger of Johnstown, attends Greater Johnstown High School. She will perform a comical monologue.
MaryElizabeth Newman, daughter of Ted and LeeAnn Newman of Bellefonte, Centre County, attends Bellefonte Area High School. She will perform a vocal.
Jamie Rosellini, daughter of Jaime and Lucy Rosellini of Butler, attends Butler Area Senior High School. She will perform a lyrical dance.
Alice Welsh, daughter of Timothy and Ann-Marie Welsh of Erie, attends Mercyhurst Preparatory School. She will perform a vocal.
