Walnut Grove

Pastor Ron Barto will deliver the message “How to be Led by God,” with Scripture from 1 Kings 18, during the 10 a.m. Sunday worship service at Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren, 1068 Bedford St., Johnstown.

Sunday Blast, for children ages 4 through Grade 12, and adult Sunday school will begin at 9.

Windber Calvary UM

The Rev. John Snyder will deliver the message “Right Giving,” based on the Gospel of Mark 12:38-44, during the 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship service at Windber Calvary United Methodist Church, 1800 Stockholm Ave.

Veterans will be honored and the shoe boxes collected for Operation Christmas Child will be dedicated.

The Chancel Choir will sing “I Surrender All,” under the direction and accompaniment of organist Robert Shaffer.

“Share His Love” will air on WCCL 101.7 at 8:30.

An innovative worship service will be held at 7 p.m.

Nursery will be provided.

Zion Lutheran

Liturgy of Holy Communion will be celebrated during the  10:15 a.m. Sunday worship  service at Zion Lutheran Church, 613 Locust St., downtown Johnstown, with a Gospel reading from Mark 12:38-44.

Church school will begin at 9.

Fellowship will follow at 9:30.

A midweek Liturgy of Holy Communion will be celebrated at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. John’s Memorial Chapel.
