A retrospective of the art of the late Sister Maria Josephine D’Angelo, RSM, will be on display through Sept. 20 in the Wolf-Kuhn Gallery at Mount Aloysius College, Cresson.

Donated art

“Highlights from the Permanent Collection: Celebration of the Wolf Family Donations” will be on display through Aug. 4 at Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art at Ligonier Valley, One Boucher Lane and Route 711 South, Ligonier.

Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 1 to 5 p.m. weekends.

Registered artists

“Rostered Artists Revealed” will be on display through Aug. 10 at Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art at Altoona, 1210 Eleventh Ave.

The exhibition highlights works created by artists rostered with SAMA and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.

Featured artists are Michael Allison, Deb Bunnell, Peter Frantz, Rita Haldeman, Adrienne Heinrich, Terry Johnson, Jan Kinney, Evgeny Krayushkin, Lynne Magee, Tom McCarty, Martha Murphy, Susan Novak, Sue Pollins, Kathy Trexel Reed, Harriet Rosenberg and Ann Van Kuren.

Photo shoot

“Journey of a Lifetime: The Photography of Christian James” will be on display through Sept. 7 at the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art at Altoona, 1210 11th Ave.

James has captured the most picturesque locations throughout the United States and Canada.

He is a self-taught photographer, receiving the award of Master Photographer from the Professional Photographers of North America.

Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 1 to 5 p.m. Saturdays.
