A reception was held at The Gather'n Place Banquet Hall, 602 First St., Windber.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, where she received a bachelor's degree.

She plans to attend Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, where she will pursue a master's degree in art history.

The groom is serving in the Navy on the USS Nassau (LHA4), stationed in Norfolk, Va.

The newlyweds reside in Athens.
