JOHNSTOWN — High School Boys

Blacklick Valley 71 Conemaugh Valley 64

NANTY GLO – Dalton Cesarz poured in 31 points while Justin Paul added 18 and Johnny Sheesley scored 15 in leading Blacklick Valley.

Blake Furman’s 27 points topped the Blue Jays. Nick Roberts added 19 and Vince Vibostok scored 12.

Windber 78

North Star 34

BOSWELL – Matt Barkley scored 16 points and had 10 rebounds as Windber dispatched North Star. Tyler Zabrucky also had 16 points while Cody Stenger and Dan Tomlinson added 12 and 10 points, respectively. Steve Pipon grabbed 10 rebounds for the Ramblers.

North Star was spurred by Von Yoder’s 18 points while teammate Jake Little pitched in 11.

Northern Cambria 69 Penns Manor 40

NORTHERN CAMBRIA – Adam Polites connected on a career-high eight 3-pointers on his way to 28 points in the Colts’ win over Penns Manor.

Jeff Hogan collected eight rebounds for the hosts.

Adam Tomayko’s 17 points led the Comets while J.T. Horwat added 10 more.

Portage 63 Claysburg-Kimmel 41

PORTAGE – Devin Brown netted 21 points, Michael Bryja tossed in 18 and Cody Randall tallied 11 points as the Mustangs dropped the Bulldogs.

Claysburg-Kimmel’s scoring punch was provided by Carter Cerully (14 points) and Austin Lamont (12 points).

Richland 62

Forest Hills 46

Kyle Flick scored 17 points, and Aaron Miller had 10 as Richland defeated visiting Forest Hills.

Joe Donoughe led Forest Hills with 16 points.

Richland jumped out to a 38-16 halftime advantage and led 53-23 through three quarters.

Shade 82

Turkeyfoot Valley 40

CAIRNBROOK – Wade Walker had 22 points and 14 rebounds, and Nash Walker had 15 points as host Shade beat Turkeyfoot Valley.

Jeremy Pyles netted 13 points, Ryan Fyock had 12, and Brock Medva had four assists as Shade improved to 11-0. Brandon McClintock led Turkeyfoot Valley with 14 points.

Conemaugh Twp. 73 Ferndale 37

Jeff Fisher netted 15 points, and Dillon Boyer and Josh Burns each scored 11 as visiting Conemaugh Township defeated Ferndale.

Chad Eisenhuth had a game-high 21 points for the Yellow Jackets.

High School Girls

Forest Hills 47

Penn Cambria 33

SIDMAN – Casey Gallaher had 14 points and five assists while Caitlyn Gallaher scored 11 points and issued five assists in the Rangers’ win over Penn Cambria. Marlee Zubek tallied 10 points and totaled nine rebounds for the hosts.

Megan Wheeler’s 12 points led the Panthers.

Richland 60

Greater Johnstown 37

The Rams received matching 14-point nights from Morgan Instone and Sarah Pfeil on their way to victory over the host Trojans. Richland held Greater Johnstown to just three points in the second quarter to help build their eventual cushion.

Madison McKee’s 11 points led the Trojans and teammate Tashayla Smith pulled down 11 rebounds.

Bishop Guilfoyle 66 Bishop Carroll 24

EBENSBURG – Elyssa Ehredt and Halee Adams each had 16 points, and Devin Stessney had 12 as Bishop Guilfoyle beat host Bishop Carroll.

Haley Krug had a team-best nine points for Carroll.

Westmont Hilltop 66 Somerset 28

SOMERSET – Erin Rodgers’ 16 points headed a quartet of Hilltoppers scoring 10 or more points in a decisive win over Somerset. Paige Lamberson posted 15 points while Rachel Roper scored 11 and Alyssa Miller tallied 10.

Rodgers also had seven assists and six steals while Miller had eight rebounds.

Sydney Geary led the Golden Eagles with 11 points.

Central Cambria 50 Cambria Heights 38

PATTON – Taylor King-Brothers and Bri Wasser each scored 14 points, and Taylor Boring added 11 as Central Cambria beat host Cambria Heights.

Jamie Snedden had a game-high 21 points and nine rebounds for the Highlanders.
