Cops seek man in ’uncomfortable’ tanning visit

IRWIN — Police are trying to locate a man who “attempted to have inappropriate and unwelcomed contact” with a young worker at a western Pennsylvania tanning salon – including whether he could tan in the nude.

Police in North Huntingdon Township aren’t identifying the salon or the employee in question. But they’ve released surveillance video of the customer who entered the shop and asked “uncomfortable questions” of the clerk on Oct. 2.

Police want to speak with the man and know who he is as part of an ongoing investigation. Police believe the man was harassing the salon employee.

Police issued a news release seeking more information on Sunday, because they’ve yet to identify the man.
