Two Cambria County residents and two Blair County residents were jailed Thursday after being accused of selling “bath salts” drugs in the Gallitzin and Portage areas.
The Cambria County Drug Task Force filed drug charges against Patrick Edward Healy, 55, of Gallitzin; Denise Hofer, 39, of Patton; Ryan Wendt, 29, of Duncansville; and Frank Kratzer, 34, of Altoona.
In criminal complaints, the drug task force said it used confidential informants and a search warrant at Healy’s property to seize bath salts, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Authorities also said that they found Hofer hiding 10 grams of bath salts inside her bra.
The suspects were arraigned by on-call District Judge Leonard Grecek of Roxbury.
Hofer and Healy were sent to the Cambria County Prison after each failed to pay 10 percent of $50,000 bond.
Kratzer was jailed after failing to post 10 percent of $7,500 bond.
Wendt was jailed after failing to post 10 percent of $5,000 bond.
