Deer trapped in river creates buzz along Roosevelt Boulevard

JOHNSTOWN — Workers at JWF along Iron Street have been concerned since yesterday when they spotted a young doe in the river across from the plant.

An unidentified worker said he believes the doe may have been washed into the water near the Inclined Plane during the storm on Monday. She apparently floated down the river to her current location and is unable to climb the steep riverwalls.
