Supervisor-elect relinquishes seat on planning commission

JOHNSTOWN — A soon-to-be Richland Township supervisor relinquished his longtime planning commission post this week.

Keith Saylor, elected to the supervisors board this fall, has served more than 30 years on the township commission, whose members are appointed by supervisors.

A longtime planning board chairman, Saylor was a former owner of Saylor Brothers Hardware in Geistown.

Supervisors said they are accepting letters of interest for Saylor’s vacant planning commission seat.
