Gunman holds up delivery person

— A masked gunman robbed a pizza delivery woman on Cypress Avenue after making a bogus call for a pizza, authorities said.

City police Chief Craig Foust said the woman was delivering a pizza in the 500 block of Cypress Avenue around 11 p.m. Tuesday when she was approached by a black male.

Foust said the man pulled a handgun and said, “Give me everything you have.”

The woman turned over an undisclosed amount of money and the gunman fled, the chief said. No one was injured.

The robber is described as a light-skinned black male about 5 feet 4 inches tall. He was dressed in black with a hoodie and had a mask covering the lower portion of his face.

Police determined the pizza order was phony, Foust said.
