2 killed in tractor trailer crash

CHADDS FORD —

Authorities have released the names of a Delaware man and woman killed in a collision between a tractor trailer and a sport utility vehicle leaving a restaurant near the Delaware-Pennsylvania state line.

State police in Chester County said 39-year-old Matthew Petke and 45-year-old Brenda Petke of Wilmington, Del. were pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities said their SUV had just pulled out of Taqueria Moroleon Mexican Restaurant in Kennett Township and was turning to go south on busy Route 41 when it was hit by the northbound truck at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

The driver of the tractor trailer was uninjured. State police are still investigating.
