Dorothy (Meo) Kingston

KINGSTON – Dorothy (Meo), Johnstown, passed away in her home in Mesa, Ariz., on Sunday, July 5, 2009, after a courageous two-year battle with cancer. She was 72 years old. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin. Her many passions included cooking, gardening, water color painting, quilting, sketching and being an amazing grandmother. Her children, Nancy Anne Kingston and Patrick Kingston preceded her in death.  She is survived by her husband of 53 years, John P. Kingston; four children, Richard Kingston, Frances Kingston-Dill, Kathleen Kingston-Sprunger and Barbara Kingston and her seven grandchildren, Kyle Kingston, Grace Kingston, Jonathan Kingston, Jack Kingston, Amanda Dill, Emilee Sprunger and Will Sprunger. Dorothy was an amazing woman who touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all.  Memorial service will be held in Glenview, Ill., on Friday, July 17, at 11 a.m. at Hanekamp Funeral Home.
