THOMAS – Andrew, 78, St. Boniface, died July 18, 2008, at Miners Medical Center. Born Nov. 4, 1929, in Spangler, the son of the late Andrew T. and Margaret (Schirf) Thomas. Preceded in death by daughter, Karen; sisters, Leona Farabaugh, Rita Farabaugh and Helen Gnegy; brothers, William, Carl and Francis. Survived by wife of 55 years, the former Harriet McNulty; and these children, Danny (Gloria), St. Boniface; Alice (Lawrence) Cease, Fairfax, Va.; Stephen, St. Boniface; and seven grandchildren. Also survived by brother, Alvin Thomas, Ebensburg. Operated Thomas Auto Wreckers for 50 years. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Easly Funeral Home, Hastings. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Boniface Chapel. Interment at St. Boniface Cemetery.
