Robert C. Laskowski (Lasky) Sr.

LASKOWSKI (LASKY) – Robert C. Sr., 50, Penn Avenue, Jenner Township, Somerset County, died Nov. 8, 2009, as a result of a motorcycle accident. Born May 23, 1959, in Johnstown, son of Henry J. and Frances E. (Runtz) Laskowski. Preceded in death by father in 2000; sister, Diane Kovach in 1993; and nephew, Hank Lasky in 2007. Survived by mother, with whom Bob resided; former wife, Betty Laskowski, Belsano; sons, Robert C. Jr. “Rob,” Jenner Township; and Michael J., Belsano; daughter, Alexis, Boswell; grandson, Jaiden; sister, Carol Sotosky, Jenner Crossroads; brother, Henry A., Virginia Beach, Va.; brother- in-law, Anthony Kovach, Uniontown; sister-in-law, Karen Lasky, Davidsville; best friend, Chuck Trexel; and many other relatives, including nephew, Christopher Lasky, who had resided at the Lasky home. Served in the U.S. Navy. Member of Jerome Post 802, American Legion; Jenner Rod & Gun Club; and Jerome Nest 556, Polish Falcons of America. Former employee of Ebensburg Center. Private family viewing. However, family and friends are invited to a funeral service at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell, Deacon Jay Pyle of All Saints Catholic Parish and Pastor Robert Rummel of Way of Hope Christian Fellowship.
