A Moxham man has been charged with slashing another man during a fight involving six people early Sunday outside a Richland Township establishment.
Travis Michael Reighard, 23, of the 500 block of Russell Avenue, Johnstown, was arraigned before District Judge Mary Ann Zanghi of Vinco and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
He was charged by Richland police with aggravated assault and other offenses.
The incident took place around 2 a.m. outside The Corral restaurant and lounge on Scalp Avenue.
Richland K-9 Officer Tim Rhoades said police apprehended Reighard at the scene.
A verbal altercation started inside the establishment among three men from Moxham and three from the Somerset area, Rhoades said.
The argument continued when the six went outside and then became physical, Rhoades said. One man was punched and knocked unconscious and another received facial injuries. Both were treated at a hospital.
Reighard then pulled out a box cutter and cut a man, causing that man to receive medical treatment for a chest injury, Rhoades said.
More arrests could be made, he said.
