NEW – Hollidaysburg man to stand trial in traffic death of Cambria County woman

The Tribune-Democrat

HOLLIDAYBURG A local man will stand trial in Blair County Court in the traffic death of a Cambria County woman Sept 27 on Frankstown Road near here.

Martin Bruce Wimer, 51, is charged with vehicular homicide, drunken driving and related offenses in the death of 67-year-old Judy Wills of Flinton.

All of the charges against Wimer were bound over for county court action by District Judge Paula Aigner at a preliminary hearing this week.

State police alleged that his blood-alcohol level was 0.221 percent, more than twice the legal limit of 0.08 percent. He is freed on $100,000 bond.

The Blair County coroner’s office said that death was caused by a broken neck and other injuries. The police said that the accident was a head-on crash.
