NEW – Police are investigating a suspicious death in Jerome

— Police are investigating the “suspicious death” of a 73-year-old woman this morning in Conemaugh Township, Somerset County.
Township police were called to the School Avenue residence in Jerome at 9:12 a.m. this morning. Somerset County Coroner Wallace Miller also responded.
No other details were released as of this afternoon. Personnel from the state police and Somerset County District Attorney’s office are assisting the investigation.
