Cambria County

The following is one of the more serious criminal cases handled by District Judge Galen Decort, Portage:

Brandon Michael Gribbin, 31, of the 1000 block of Sonman Avenue, Portage, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia.



The following is a list of the more serious criminal cases handled recently by District Judge Max Pavlovich, Richland Township:

Jason Michael George, 27, of the 3100 block of Graham Avenue, Windber, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license. Case pending.

Ryan A. Berkey, 27, of the 500 block of Shady Lane, Windber, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Case pending.

Ryan Courtney, 34, of the 800 block of Fifth Avenue, Altoona, was charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property and driving without a license. Case pending.

Leslie Anna Walters, 20, of the 3400 block of Route 711 North, Ligonier, was charged with failure to carry a license while driving, driving with an obstructed view, careless driving, fleeing police, disorderly conduct and minor driving with alcohol. Case pending.

James Earl Gaunt, 34, of the 700 block of Orchard Street, Portage, was charged with theft of leased property. Case pending.

Gary William Cawley, 29, whose address was listed as the Allegheny County Jail and who was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft and receiving stolen property, waived his case to Cambria County Court.

Thomas Baird Watson IV, 22, of the 1400 block of Wilson Street, Glenshaw, Allegheny County, charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, waived his case to Cambria County Court. A charge of aggravated assault was withdrawn.

Aurelio Anthony Santucci, 24, of the 1200 block of Ringling Avenue, Johnstown, charged with disorderly conduct and two drug-law violations, waived his case to Cambria County Court.

William Lint III, 20, of Stadium Terrace, Windber, charged with possession of marijuana, retail theft, public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and driving with a suspended license, waived his case to Cambria County Court.

Orrett Larmond Jr., 19, of the 200 block of Garfield Street, Johnstown, charged with fleeing police, recklessly endangering another person, reckless driving and speeding, waived his case to Cambria County Court.

Franklin Earl Reed Jr., 25, of the State Correctional Institution, Huntingdon, charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property, waived his case to Cambria County Court.

Emily Jo Tressler, 20, of the first block of Forest Hills Drive, Sidman, charged with two counts of retail theft and one count of receiving stolen property, waived her cases to Cambria County Court. Two separate incidents.

Jennifer M. Marsh, 32, of the 1200 block of Third Street, Windber, charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property, waived her case to Cambria County Court.

A charge of theft of leased property was withdrawn against Marissa Stem, 20, of the 400 block of Corinne Street, Johnstown. She agreed to pay $1,600 restitution and $198 costs.



The following is a list of the more serious criminal cases handled recently by District Judge Leonard Grecek, Roxbury:

Kimberly Marie DeJesus, 36, of the 600 block of Millcreek Road, Johnstown, was charged with recklessly endangering another person, terroristic threats, aggravated assault and disorderly conduct. Case pending.

Michael John DeJesus Sr., 36, of the 600 block of Millcreek Road, Johnstown, was charged with terroristic threats and disorderly conduct. Case pending.

Tina Marie Scaletta, 48, of the 600 block of Riverside Avenue, Johnstown, was charged with a drug-law violation. Case pending.

Matthew Galiano, 25, of the 100 block of Chandler Avenue, Johnstown, was charged with aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment. Case pending.

Lorie Jeanne Brown, 44, whose last known address was listed as the 200 block of Ringgold Street, Waynesboro, Franklin County, and who was charged with accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle or property and careless driving, was declared a fugitive.

A charge of simple assault against Chauncey Eugene Mickens, 46, of the 100 block of Second Street, Conemaugh, was dismissed.

Charges of burglary, terroristic threats and disorderly conduct were dismissed against Timothy Brown, 45, of the 9000 block of Plowline Road, Randallstown, Md.

Travis Wittwer, 32, of the 400 block of Brallier Place, Johnstown, charged with hindering apprehension and possession of drug paraphernalia, waived his case to Cambria County Court.

Jasmine Nicole Burns, 19, of the 400 block of Brallier Place, Johnstown, charged with hindering apprehension and possession of drug paraphernalia, waived her case to Cambria County Court.

Brian Arthur Eash, 23, of the 500 block of Linden Avenue, Johnstown, charged with four drug-law violations, waived his case to Cambria County Court.



The following is a list of the more serious criminal dispositions handled recently by District Judge Michael Musulin, downtown Johnstown:

Nicholas Ramirez, 58, of the 100 block of Graywood Street, Johnstown, was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. Case pending.

Scott Miller, 37, of the 800 block of Forest Hills Drive, Sidman, was charged with recklessly endangering another person, simple assault, drunken driving, reckless driving and public drunkenness. Case pending.

Anthony Urbano Torres, 49, of the 500 block of Napoleon Street, Johnstown, charged with defiant trespass and disorderly conduct, waived his case to Cambria County Court.

Andrew P. Luko, 28, of the 600 block of Elmer Road, Bridgeton, N.J., charged with statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault and unlawful contact with a minor, waived his case to Cambria County Court.

Dwight Thomas Locher Jr., 24, of Building 45, Oakhurst Homes, Johnstown, charged with rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, intimidation of a witness or victim, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, unlawful restraint, terroristic threats and simple assault, was bound to Cambria County Court.



The following is a list of the more serious criminal cases handled by District Judge Charity Nileski, Cresson

Edward Allen Rinker Jr., 25, of Ashville, charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

Darrell A. Jaramillo, 18, of the 100 block of Powell Avenue, Cresson, charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment.



The following is a list of the more serious cases handled recently by District Judge Michael Zungali, Hastings:

Gary E. Baker, 50, of the 100 block of Bridge Street, Hastings, charged March 31 by Hastings Borough police with assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. Case pending.

Timothy A. Henderson, 20, of the 100 block of Arotin Lane, Ebensburg, charged March 31 by Northern Cambria Borough police with harassment, disorderly conduct and assault. Case pending.

Joseph E. Cochran, 25, of the 100 block of Rodeo Drive, Glasgow, charged March 31 by Northern Cambria Borough police with harassment, disorderly conduct and assault. Case pending.

Jonathan D. Litzinger, 26, of the 1300 block of Lloyd Sreet, Nanty Glo, charged March 31 by Northern Cambria Borough police with harassment, disordely conduct and assault. Case pending.



The following is a list of guilty pleas and sentencings recently handled at Cambria County Court in Ebensburg.

Daniel Bassett, 34, of the 100 block of Liberty Park, South Fork, for disorderly conduct. Sentenced to $233.85 in fines and costs.

Robert A. Foster, 47, of the 100 block of Lauretta Lane, Johnstown, for public drunkenness. Sentenced to 90 days probation and $846 in fines and costs.

Carla R. Gallaher, 38, of the 500 block of Oakland Avenue, Johnstown, for violation of a controlled substance and possession of drugs. Sentenced to 12 months probation, counseling and $2,230 in fines and costs.

Jamie R. Martin, 23, of the 500 block of 19th Street, Mine 40, for defiant trespass and criminal mischief. Sentenced to 12 months probation and $1,968 in restitution, fines and costs.

Timothy E. Petty, 43, of the 1300 block of Martin Street, Munhall, for drug paraphernalia. Sentenced to six months probation and $2,156 in fines and costs.

Stephan Waugh Jr., 21, of the 200 block of Maple Avenue, Altoona, for forgery. Sentenced to 72 months probation and $4,392 in fines and costs.



The following defendant was placed on Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD):

Tonya Sue Beach, 29, of the 1100 block of Pine Crest Boulevard, Johnstown, for theft by unlawful taking. Sentenced to ARD and fines and costs of $1,510.



Somerset County

The following are more serious cases handled by District Judge Art Cook, Somerset, for the period ending April 8:

Michael Scott Santichen, 34, of Shady Lane, Johnstown, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving under the influence. Case pending.

Robert A. Smith Jr., no age listed, of the 500 block of Lambertsville Road, Stoystown, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Case pending.

Charges of solicitation to commit homicide, solicitation to commit aggravated assault and solicitation to commit simple assault were dropped against Jason Robert Martin, 26, of Listie. Martin pleaded guilty to summary charges of disorderly conduct and harassment.
