Man wanted for heroin dealing apprehended by police

One of two suspects wanted by the Jackson Township police for fleeing police in a car containing $7,000 of heroin was apprehended Wednesday in Johnstown.
Christopher Berry, 25, of the 100 block of Chapin Street, Johnstown, was arraigned before District Judge Mary Ann Zanghi, Vinco, and lodged in the Cambria County Prison in lieu of $150,000 bail.
He and the other man police are searching for, Shakir Mosi Smith, 30, address unknown, are charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, heroin possession, drug conspiracy, fleeing police and reckless endangerment.
Jackson Township police said the pair fled police in mid-March.
The pair abandoned the car in Woodvale with police finding the heroin packaged for sale in 210 small baggies.
