UPDATE – One of the flooded Somerset County roads has reopened

Heavy rain caused flooding on two roads in Somerset County, making them for a time impassable to motorists.
Route 3006 (Leaphart Road/Main Street) in Rockwood Borough is also closed from the intersection of Bowman Road in Upper Turkeyfoot Township to the intersection of Main Street in Rockwood Borough from about noon until shortly after 2 p.m. today.
Route 2005 (Matlick Road) in Summit Township, Somerset County is closed from the intersection of Old Mule Trail Road to the intersection of Mount Davis Road, in Summit Township.
Motorists are advised not to drive through a flooded roadway, and to find an alternate route. The roads are expected to remain closed until Tuesday morning, depending on weather conditions.
