• The following are more serious criminal cases handled recently by District Judge Mary Ann Zanghi, Vinco:
Harry Lamont Hinton, 30, 500 block of Dorothy Avenue, Johnstown, was charged with aggravated assault (two counts), simple assault and criminal mischief. Disposition is pending.
Matthew Lonas, 25, 100 block of Cooper Avenue, Johnstown, was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault (two counts), and criminal mischief. Disposition is pending.
Garth N. Price, 23, 1300 block of Johnson Street, Nanty Glo, was charged with simple assault. Disposition is pending.
Dustin M. McNelley, 21, 100 block of Fir Street, Johnstown, was charged with terroristic threats and harassment. Disposition is pending.
Lynette Gabor, 38, 100 block of Trout Street, Johnstown, was charged with disorderly conduct (two counts). Disposition pending.
James C. Delarre Jr., 24, 400 block of West Ogle Street, Ebensburg, was charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition and receiving stolen property. Disposition is pending.
• The following more serious criminal cases were handled recently at District Judge Michael Zungali's office in Hastings:
Arnold P. Becker, 54, of the 400 block of Krug Road, Loretto, was charged by Hastings Borough police on April 23 with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and criminal defiant trespass. A preliminary hearing is scheduled June 3.
Megan A. Strasser, 21, of Haida Village, Hastings, was charged by Hastings Borough police on April 11 with simple assault, harassment and criminal trespass. A preliminary hearing is scheduled June 3.
• The following is a list of guilty pleas and sentencings handled recently at Cambria County Court in Ebensburg:
Mary J. Adelsberg, 38, of the 800 block of Eger Road, Cresson, for second offense DUI and public drunkenness. Sentenced to three months house arrest, 21 months probation less one day, must attend driving school and counseling, and $4,173 in fines and costs.
Jamere Q. Christian, 19, of the 600 block of Menoher Boulevard, Johnstown, for flight to avoid apprehension, reckless endangerment and possession of cocaine. Sentenced to seven months to two years less one day in Cambria County Jail, seven years probation and $8,040 in fines and costs.
Glenn Corley, 60, of the block of South Second Street, Swissvale, formerly of C Street, Johnstown, for violation of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver. Sentenced to six months to two years less one day in Cambria County Jail, seven years probation, and $8,789 in fines and costs.
Jessie James Frederick, 31, of the 1500 block of Christoff Street, Nanty Glo, for indecent assault. Sentenced to 23 months probation, no contact with the victim and $2,085 in fines and costs.
Joseph Forsythe, 30, of the 600 block of Railroad Street, Windber, for institutional vandalism. Sentenced to two years probation consecutive to all other cases and $2,243 in fines and costs.
Barry A. Gobert, 21, of the 400 block of Mark Hanna Road, Ashville, for disorderly conduct. Sentenced to 90 days probation and $699 in fines and costs.
Gregory A. Hileman II, of Oakhurst Homes, Johnstown, for endangering the welfare of children, reckless endangerment and simple assault. Sentenced to one to two years less one day in Cambria County Jail with automatic parole, seven years probation and $6,434 in fines and costs.
Derrick A. Isaacson, 28, of the 100 block of Peach Lane, Lilly, for DUI second offense and public drunkenness. Sentenced to six months house arrest, attend driving school and counseling, and $2,769 in fines and costs.
Derrick M. Jaindl, 25, of the 100 block of Ohio Street, Johnstown, for theft and simple assault. Sentenced to 23 months probation and $2,639 in fines and costs.
Brian L. Kasper, 27, of the 400 block of Forrest Avenue, Johnstown, for criminal attempt. Sentenced to 23 months probation and $1,804 in fines and costs.
Scott C. Kline, 25, of the 100 block of Holtz Street, Carrolltown, for DUI second offense and public drunkenness. Sentenced to 21 months probation, attend driving school and counseling, and $4,069 in fines and costs.
Joseph L. Livingston, 22, of the 200 block of David Street, Johnstown, for accident involving damage to attended vehicle or property. Sentenced to 23 months probation consecutive to current probation and $1,534 in fines and costs.
Wendy Sue Lykens, of the 100 block of Broad Street, Hollidaysburg, formerly of the 100 block of Mockingbird Lane, Cresson, for tampering or fabricating. Sentenced to 24 months probation, must attend two NA/AA meetings per week, and pay $2,012 in fines and costs.
Johnna L. Mack, 26, of the 300 block of Sixth Avenue, Cresson, for theft by unlawful taking and driving under suspension. Sentenced to one year probation and $2,453 in fines and costs.
David Mannarino, 18, of the 100 block of Maple Street, Ashville, for receiving stolen property. Sentenced to four years probation and $3,919 in fines and costs.
Benjamin R. Mason, 34, of the 1000 block of Dispatch Street, Nanty Glo, for retail theft. Sentenced to six months probation and $813 in fines and costs.
Chauncey E. Mickens, 46, of the 1000 block of Bedford Street, Johnstown, for retail theft. Sentenced to 90 days probation and $799 in fines and costs.
Bruce C. Miller, 49, of the 100 block of Liberty Park Road, South Fork, for retail theft. Sentenced to seven years probation and $7,712 in fines and costs.
James C. Murray, 51, of the 600 block of Virginia Avenue, Johnstown, for DUI, driving under suspension and public drunkenness. Sentenced to three days to six months in Cambria County Jail with credit for times served, and $4,509 in fines and costs.
Nicholas Panasci, 20, of the 700 block of Pullman Avenue, Johnstown, for corruption of minors. Sentenced to 24 months probation and $1,698 in fines and costs.
Lisa A. Parker, 38, of the Lehigh County Prison, Allentown, formerly of Broad Street, Johnstown, for theft. Sentenced to 23 months probation and $2,552 in fines and costs.
Michael Parks, 24, of the 500 block of Oak Street, Johnstown, for violation of a controlled substance/delivery of cocaine. Sentenced to five months to two years less one day in Cambria County Jail with credit for time served and automatic parole, and $3,419 in fines and costs.
Nicholas Petrilla, 23, of the 300 block of 8th Street, Windber, for retail theft and bad checks. Sentenced to one to two years less one day in Cambria County Jail with credit for time served, 90 days probation and $1,522 in fines and costs.
Ronnie Ponchione-Lopez Toth, 42, of the 1200 block of Erickson Drive, Johnstown, for violation of a controlled substance delivery of oxycodone. Sentenced to 23 months less one day probation, counseling and $3,845 in fines and costs.
Chad M. Schilling, 24, of the 1100 block of Second Street, Nanty Glo, for DUI and public drunkenness. Sentenced to one month house arrest with electronic monitoring, 20 months probation, attend driving school and counseling, and $3,343 in fines and costs.
David A. Schompert, 42, of the 500 block of Broad Street, Johnstown, for receiving stolen property. Sentenced to one to 23 months in Cambria County Jail with automatic parole and $1,595 in fines and costs.
Andrew Sheftic Jr., 64, of the 900 block of Caldwell Avenue, Portage, for DUI second offense and public drunkenness. Sentenced to three months house arrest with electronic monitoring, 21 months less one day probation, attend driving school and counseling, and $4,100 in fines and costs.
Stacy J. Shelko, 36, of the 400 block of Riverside Avenue, Johnstown, for retail theft, DUI and public drunkenness. Sentenced to one month house arrest with electronic monitoring, two years probation, attend driving school and counseling, and $4,579 in fines and costs.
John H. Smith, 46, of the 500 block of Klondike Road, Patton, for DUI second offense and public drunkenness. Sentenced to three months house arrest with electronic monitoring, 21 months less one day probation, attend driving school and counseling, and $4,218 in fines and costs
John Stupsky, 30, of the 100 block of Marshall Street, Nanty Glo, for criminal mischief. Sentenced to 90 days probation consecutive to current case and $449 in fines and costs.
Raymond Vezza, 80, of the 800 block of Third Avenue, Patton, for harassment. Sentenced to one to three months in Cambria County Jail with credit for time served and automatic parole, no contact with the victim, and $871 in fines and costs.
Ronald Weigand, 38, of the 700 block of Sherman Street, Johnstown, for failure to prevent a catastrophe, simple assault and resisting arrest. Sentenced to one to two years less one day in Cambria County Jail with credit for time served, two years probation, and $90,112 in fines, costs and restitution.
Garrett J. Westrick, 24, of the 500 block of Miller Street, Hastings, for DUI second offense and public drunkenness. Sentenced to three months to two years in Cambria County Jail, attend driving school and counseling, and $16,258 in fines and costs.
Monica Wilson, 31, of the 600 block of Beech Avenue, Johnstown, for theft by unlawful taking. Sentenced to 12 months probation and $973 in fines and costs.
Kelly R. Woodside, 22, of the 6000 block of Route 240, Cherry Tree, for aiding consummation of a crime. Sentenced to 15 months probation and $2,054 in fines and costs.
