Indiana Co. men charged in theft of utility vehicles

MARION CENTER — Four men have been arrested in connection with the theft of two John Deere Gators in March from Maple Mountain Equipment.

State police identified the suspects as William Alan Hunt, 32, and Thomas Edward Ashcom, 32, both of Seward; Richard Ondo, 56, of Homer City; and Glenn Filler, 54, of Indiana.

Hunt and Ashcom each are charged with theft, receiving stolen property and criminal trespass. They were arraigned before District Judge George M. Thachik of Clymer and placed in the Indiana County Jail in lieu of $40,000 bond each. Ondo and Filler each are charged with receiving stolen property and each were released on their own recognizance after arraignment before Thachik.

The arraignments took place May 20 and May 21.
