Burglars ransacked offices and made off with a cash drawer when they struck three businesses in Upper and Lower Yoder townships early Tuesday, authorities said.
The break-ins at the three Goucher Street businesses likely are related, police said.
Doors were pried open at Bill’s Service Station at 680 Goucher and Johnstown Municipal Golf Course at 361 Goucher, Upper Yoder police said.
A cash drawer with an undetermined amount of money was stolen from the golf course office, and a computer and filing cabinets were damaged, police said. The door of the service station was damaged but nothing was taken.
West Hills Regional police said that around the same time, someone broke into Westwood Garden Haven at 1816 Goucher in Lower Yoder.
A small window was forced open, and office cabinets and drawers were ransacked. Nothing was reported taken, police said.
West Hills police also are continuing their investigation of incidents in which money and items were taken from 11 unlocked vehicles two weeks ago.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Cambria County nonemergency number: (800) 281-1680.
