EBENSBURG – A disturbance in front of an Ebensburg tavern ended early Thursday morning when state police charged a Sidman man with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
Troopers said they arrested Kevin Michael Lonesky, 21, of Sidman at 1:35 a.m. Friday while they were trying to break up an unruly crowd in front of The Castle Pub in the 100 block of North Center Street.
State police at the Ebensburg barracks are investigating.
Woman’s car stolen during weekend
SOMERSET – A Rockwood woman’s car was stolen during the weekend, state police reported.
Nadine Briggs, 50, said her 1996 Pontiac Sunfire was taken Saturday or Sunday from a residence on Markleton School Road in Black Township, troopers said.

BLUE KNOB – A weekend of activities is planned by the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources starting Friday evening at Blue Knob State Park.
A movie will be shown at
9 p.m. Friday at the Buck Hill Amphitheater.
The Bedford County Wilderness Search Team will be giving instructions on hands-on skills of basic first aid from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the amphitheater.
On Sunday, Jessie Kohan and Jessie Barnes, park naturalists, will be visiting day-use areas between noon and
4 p.m. discussing birds seen in Pennsylvania.
