Drug ring collared

— Two Johnstown men have been arrested and a third from Pittsburgh is wanted for allegedly trafficking drugs in Johnstown and Nanty Glo.
District Attorney Patrick Kiniry said the suspects were dealing $10,000-worth a month of crack cocaine and heroin. The city sales were in the Moxham and Hornerstown sections.
A warrant has been obtained by the county drug task force for the arrest of alleged ringleader Thomas Allen Davis Jr., 23, of Pittsburgh, who is accused of dealing in both heroin and crack.
In addition to drug offenses, Davis is charged with felony gun possession. Kiniry said Davis may be in the Pittsburgh area.
The other two suspects are Cirilito “C.O.” Cheatham, 23, of the 600 block of Sherman Street, and Evan “E” Santucci, 22, of the 1200 block of Ringling Avenue.
The two were arrested June 19 by investigators from the county drug task force, the Johnstown police, FBI and the state Attorney General’s Office. They were arraigned before District Judge Rick Varner and lodged in the county jail after being unable to post bond.
The three had been selling drugs for about three months, said Kevin Price, task force supervisor. The arrests culminated a two-month probe, he said.
In an unrelated case, investigators have arrested Myron Colemen, 20, of Oakhurst Homes, Johnstown, on charges of possession with the intent to deliver marijuana.
Coleman also was arraigned before Varner and lodged in the county jail in lieu of bond. He was taken into custody Friday in the city’s West End.
During the investigations, the task force seized a 9 mm handgun, more than $2,000 cash, heroin with a street value of $4,000 and crack with a street value of $500, Kiniry said.
