Indiana County infant’s death probed

INDIANA
The Tribune-Democrat

State police and Indiana County Coroner Michael A. Baker on Saturday were investigating the death of a White Township infant who died Friday morning at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

In a news release, Baker said an autopsy has been conducted and added that his office was not prepared to release any further details.

A brief news release from state police at Indiana said the infant was 3 months old and that an investigation was continuing.

Baker did not immediately return a telephone call from The Tribune-Democrat seeking additional information. A state police spokesman at Indiana said Saturday night he had no additional information about the case.
