Township fire department celebrating 75th year

The Conemaugh Township Volunteer Fire Department in Tire Hill will celebrate its 75th anniversary on Aug. 9.

A parade will begin at 1 p.m. from Johnstown Christian School to Greenhouse Park, where festivities will be held.

Music features Better Days from

2 to 5 p.m.; polka by Jerry Intihar from 5 to 7, and TD Sounds DJ starting at 7. Activities include classic cars, a dunking booth, food and more.
